  I got a couple of these because my son is scared to catch a normal frisbee because he is a scaredy cat. They fly reasonably well (although not as good as a disc or normal frisbee) and he isn't paranoid about being smacked in the face with these. We ended up using them in the pool - they float well on water and worked very well for us.
