  I bought the shorts to give me a bit protection when ice skating as they are very low profile and easily disguised. I have taken small falls since the purchase and have found the padding a bit to thin for my liking so now looking for thicker padded shorts. But still, very well made and it depends on how much protection you need. Would recommend!!!!
