Love the waterproof cover. We needed something that was comfortable to carry when full of heavy items and it is. Useful pockets. Only possible downside is it's designed to take a ball in the front pocket so can appear a bit bulky as we are not using it for that purpose

Bought for my 15 year old son for school. Only downside is that the extra front pocket opens into the main part of the bag with no fastener, would prefer it not to, but so far isn’t an issue. Great for fitting PE kit in too (trainer space at front) I think the waterproof cover is great, but not sure it will actually get used.

We purchased this bag as my sons previous, almost identical backpack had got a bit worn. There are some subtle differences such as the new model you can reach through to the main compartment from the front pocket (I'm undecided whether I like this feature as it doesn't seem very secure). We are hoping the drink net pocket lasts better on this model as the last one split within literally days. The rain cover is a nice extra although probably won't be needed. My son likes the design and it was the only bag I could find that had a a large enough capacity for secondary school use.
