  These fit tightly but not uncomfortably. I made the recommended holes to allow water to flow through. I forget they are on when swimming but appreciate the protection they afford as I seem to swim directly after school parties leave the changing rooms and our pool has very slippery floors .

  Very happy with purchase, price and quick delivery. Tight fit but they need to be and, being an older person worried about slipping, I found the grippy sole section adequate. A few things I would suggest. Remember to cut the bigger air vent bobbles away on side of sole so water can escape. Before leaving home put them on and then roll them down tightly from ankle top to toe section into a hoop like shape which makes it much quicker to get them on at pool. Dry them inside and out after use and use a little talc to stop them sticking.

  Firstly Newitts service has been fantastic. The first pair either tore or had a tear - which I only realised later probably wouldn't matter as the leaflet suggests cutting a small air hole anyway but they sorted it without any issue. I chose these as I'd just had an ankle operation and I planned to swim as part of rehab - they protected the scar and provided good grip. I've had verrucae before so I thought they would be a good idea. I'm size 3.5 but the medium are quite tight to put on and they stick together after rinsing so you have to dry them one side then turn out and dry the other.

  Excellent quality product. The bobbles on the bottom of the socks help alleviate slipping on wet surfaces. Tight but comfortable fit that don't detract from swimming capability by flapping about. Brill!
